Summer’s End
October 8th, 2009During the Summer Months, members of Ayr Pagans participated in some blessings outdoors, which was a great sucess!! Also, we had a day trip to the Isle of Arran and in particular Machrie Moor (with its standing stones). The weather was beautiful, the standing stones themselves were fantastic and had a feel of strong energy about them.
One of the highlights was the completion of Dunure Labyrinth. Andy Gurthrie was the main organiser in this project. The Labyrinth is there to enable a peaceful pathworking for those who require and families with children would love it!! The labyrinth was constructed from all natural materials and alot of pure effort on Andy’s part was required!! The finished product is beautiful!! Well done to all that played a major part!!! Ayr badly needed this type of monument!!
This Summer, was the first that Ayr Pagans set out to do more in the way of practical pagan work. As a group we are very friendly all take part in planning out blessings etc.. Long may it continue!! BB Jo x
